Sierra prices by outcome and quotes the contract. Fin publishes $0.99 per outcome. Decagon publishes no rate either. eesel publishes a monthly plan. Sainapse fits when the work has to land in a system of record. Sierra is still the better buy for a branded voice front door. Sierra sells the agent as the customer's front door. Its product page describes voice, chat, email, and WhatsApp in 59 languages, built with an expert agent team, and priced by outcomes. You pay only when the software achieves a defined outcome. That page does not print a dollar rate. That is a real product for a buyer who wants the vendor paid on results and is ready for a sales-led contract. It is a poor fit when finance needs a number before a call, when the volume is too small for that program, or when the job ends in a ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SAP record rather than a conversation. The shortlist below is limited to vendors whose pricing pages we read on 29 September 2026. Fin and eesel publish rates. Decagon, like Sierra, does not. Sainapse publishes plan fees and an overage on its own pricing page. Other names show up in listicles. This page does not repeat a price we did not re-read. An AI support agent, as this site uses the term, takes a step a person would have taken. A closed chat is not the same thing as a closed ticket. The glossary defines the term. The table says who finishes which kind of work. ## Five options, and what each publishes Charging reflects what each vendor publishes on its own site as of 29 September 2026. Where a page has no dollar figure, the cell says so. | | How it charges | Where it fits | | --- | --- | --- | | Sierra | Outcome-based, no rate published | Brands buying a quoted, voice-heavy agent | | Fin (Intercom) | $0.99 per outcome, published | Teams that want a public rate and a trial | | Decagon | Per conversation or resolution, quote-only | Consumer brands that will take a sales quote | | eesel | Monthly plan from $299, credits | Teams that want a published plan, self-serve | | Sainapse | Platform fee plus included tickets | Desks where the record has to change | ## Priced facts, read 29 September 2026 - **Sierra rate**: No dollar figure on its product page or pricing essays. You pay when an outcome is achieved. - **Sierra escalations**: If a case is escalated, Sierra says in most cases there is no charge. - **Sierra blend**: Where an outcome is hard to attribute, Sierra says it will use consumption-style pricing. - **Decagon rate**: decagon.ai/pricing returned a 404. Two models on its blog, and no dollar rates. - **Fin rate**: $0.99 per outcome, 50-outcome monthly minimum, 14-day trial. Qualifications are $9.99. - **eesel rate**: From $299 a month, one credit per ticket or chat, $0.80 over. Credits in that plan are not stated. - **Sainapse plans**: From $500 a month with 1,000 included tickets. Starter and Growth overage is $0.50. - **Not repeated**: Third-party dollar estimates for Sierra are not repeated here as a list price. ## Sierra and Sainapse, side by side These are different purchases. Sierra is the conversation the customer has. Sainapse is the record that conversation is supposed to change. | | Sierra | Sainapse | | --- | --- | --- | | Pricing | Outcome-based, no public rate | From $500 a month, overage published | | Where it runs | Its own agent, across channels | Inside the helpdesk you already run | | End of the job | A defined customer outcome | A closed ticket and the system write | | Channels | Voice, chat, email, WhatsApp | The channels your helpdesk already has | | Before a call | Demo, sales-led | Public plans on the pricing page | | Who builds it | Sierra's agent development team | Your team, on a per-category ladder | Fit ## When Sierra is the better fit Sierra is the better buy when the agent is the brand's front door. Voice, chat, email, and WhatsApp in dozens of languages, kept by Sierra's own agent team, is the product. If that experience is what you are purchasing, a quote is the price of admission, and a published rate card is not the point. Sierra is also the better buy when you want the vendor paid only when a defined outcome lands, and you can agree that definition up front. Its essay says an escalated case, in most cases, is not charged. That alignment is the model. It is not a model you can spreadsheet from a webpage. Fin is the better buy when you need a number this week. $0.99 per outcome is on Fin's pricing page, with a 14-day trial. eesel is the better buy when a published monthly plan and self-serve setup matter more than an enterprise agent program. Decagon is the better buy when you want a consumer concierge and prefer per-conversation billing, which Decagon says most of its customers choose. Sainapse fits when the helpdesk stays and the job is the record behind the conversation: a case update, a service request, an order written into the system of record. If the only goal is a branded voice agent, stay in Sierra's category. Proof ## What Sainapse runs in production ### Ford, four-plus years live Named: 300+ specialists, 250K+ tickets a year, embedded natively in ServiceNow. 95% copilot accept rate. Resolutions applied by engineers without edits. ~100% triage and routing accuracy. Hand-offs per resolved ticket 4 to 1.2. ### An enterprise SaaS support desk Anonymized: 400+ specialists, 1.2M+ tickets a year, 12 months live inside the helpdesk. Customer-initiated touchpoints per resolved ticket 4 to 1.2. CSAT +35%, concurrent with the Sainapse period, as correlation, not a causal claim. ### How these numbers are measured Method: Accept rate is the service desk's own accept and reject telemetry, not a survey. Hand-off counts exclude automated steps. Satisfaction movement is published as correlation because that is what the readout is. ## Sources and retrieval dates - [Sierra prices by outcomes and says you pay only for value delivered](https://sierra.ai/product) · Sierra product page · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Sierra describes voice, chat, email, and WhatsApp in 59 languages](https://sierra.ai/product) · Sierra product page · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [An unresolved Sierra conversation, in most cases, is not charged](https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents) · Sierra pricing essay · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [An escalated Sierra case, in most cases, carries no charge](https://sierra.ai/blog/outcome-based-pricing-for-ai-agents) · Sierra pricing essay · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Sierra uses consumption-style pricing where outcomes are hard to attribute](https://sierra.ai/blog/outcomemaxxing) · Sierra outcomemaxxing essay · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Decagon's pricing URL returned a 404 on the retrieval date](https://decagon.ai/pricing) · Decagon pricing URL · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Most Decagon customers choose a fixed rate per incoming conversation](https://decagon.ai/blog/pricing-ai-agents) · Decagon pricing essay · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Decagon's per-resolution model does not charge when a conversation escalates](https://decagon.ai/blog/pricing-ai-agents) · Decagon pricing essay · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [Fin lists $0.99 outcomes, a 50 minimum, a 14-day trial, and $9.99 qualifications](https://fin.ai/pricing) · Fin pricing page · retrieved 2026-09-29 - [eesel lists plans from $299 a month, one credit per ticket or chat, and $0.80 overage](https://www.eesel.ai/pricing) · eesel pricing page · retrieved 2026-09-29 ## Common questions ### What does Sierra cost? Sierra does not publish a dollar rate. Its product page says you pay only when the software achieves a valuable outcome. Its pricing essay says an unresolved conversation, in most cases, is not charged, and that some work is priced on consumption instead. Any annual figure you see elsewhere is not on Sierra's site, and this page does not repeat it. ### Which Sierra alternative publishes a price? Fin publishes $0.99 per outcome. eesel publishes plans from $299 a month. Decagon's pricing URL returned a 404 on 29 September 2026. Sainapse publishes plans from $500 a month, with a $0.50 overage on Starter and Growth. Publishing a rate and being the right product are different questions. ### Is Sainapse a Sierra replacement? Only when the job is the record, not the branded conversation. Sierra is built as the customer front door, including voice. Sainapse runs inside the helpdesk you already have and writes the result into systems of record. If you want Sierra's voice agent, Sainapse is the wrong shape. ### Does Sierra charge for escalations? Sierra's own essay says that if a case needs to be escalated, in most cases there is no charge. The same essay says outcome definitions are agreed up front. What counts, and what a given contract charges, is the quote, not a webpage. ### Do we have to replace our helpdesk? Not with Sainapse. It embeds in the desk you already run, including ServiceNow and Salesforce. Sierra's product is the agent surface itself. Keeping your current desk is a reason to look at a layer. It is not a reason Sierra is a bad product for a voice front door.
